Easy toffee fudge made with sweetened condensed milk, Hershey’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and Heath toffee bits.

The holiday season is flying by, and before it ends I love filling our house with baking, treats and shared time in the kitchen. Every year during the kids’ winter break we spend a day making our favorite recipes—cookies, chocolate-covered pretzels, peppermint bark and fudge are always on the list. While my usual favorite is a marshmallow-packed rocky road fudge, this year I wanted a variety of flavors for our gift platters. The kids helped test a few recipes and this easy toffee fudge became an instant family favorite.

Fudge is a great recipe to make with children because many versions don’t require precise candy temperatures. The simplest method uses chocolate and sweetened condensed milk — no candy thermometer needed. Kids can help stir as the chocolate melts, then sprinkle the toppings on top. For this toffee fudge we use Hershey’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and Heath Toffee Bits for a buttery crunch and rich chocolate base.
