I made this Blackstone Garlic Butter Corn as a simple, flavorful side dish that’s perfect for summer.
Corn on the cob is one of my favorite accompaniments, and cooked on the griddle it develops an extra delicious, slightly charred flavor. The garlic butter takes it over the top.
I was grilling turkey tenderloins on the Traeger and used the Blackstone griddle alongside it so everything could be finished outside for an easy, full meal.
How to Make Blackstone Garlic Butter Corn
The ingredient list is short and straightforward: fresh corn, butter, garlic, and a little seasoning.
You’ll need four ears of corn on the cob (shucked), butter, garlic (paste or minced), kosher salt, and pepper.

Melt three tablespoons of butter and stir in one tablespoon of garlic paste (or equivalent minced garlic). Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium heat for a few minutes. Add the remaining tablespoon of butter and spread it as it melts so the surface is evenly greased.
Place the shucked ears of corn directly on the griddle. If you have a melting dome, place it over the corn to help them cook through.

Cook the corn for about 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally so each side gets even color and a few charred spots. During the last few minutes brush the prepared garlic butter over the ears, coating all sides.

Those little charred kernels are my favorite—so flavorful and satisfying.
Enjoy hot off the griddle!

Garnish Blackstone Garlic Butter Corn with parsley if desired

A sprinkle of chopped parsley adds color and freshness, but it’s optional. The corn is delicious on its own.

When I cook outdoors I bring my tools and ingredients out on a tray and use that same tray to carry the finished food back inside. For this meal I plated the corn alongside Traeger BBQ turkey tenderloins for a complete, no-fuss dinner.
