Ready to make a soothing Tallow Lavender Foot Cream? This simple homemade cream combines rendered beef tallow with a nourishing oil and lavender essential oil to soften dry, cracked heels and leave feet feeling silky.
As with the Tallow Balm for face and body, this foot cream uses rendered beef fat combined with a liquid oil to create a rich, restorative balm. It’s especially effective on dry skin and rough heels. The addition of lavender essential oil brings a calming scent that many associate with promoting restful sleep.

Tallow Lavender Foot Cream for Restful Sleep
This cream is ideal for nightly use. Massage it into heels and the entire foot, then slip on socks before bed. The lavender scent is relaxing, and regular use will help soften and repair dry skin so your feet feel much smoother by morning.
Important: Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin (for example, the inner arm) to ensure you don’t have sensitivity to any ingredient, especially essential oils.
Personalize Your Foot Cream
The recipe is flexible. Rendered beef tallow forms the base; add about two tablespoons of a liquid oil to reach a creamy consistency. Recommended oils include:
- Olive oil
- Sesame oil
- Avocado oil
- Coconut oil
Olive oil is a favorite for its skin-loving properties, but you can choose any nourishing oil you prefer. After adding a few drops of lavender essential oil, the tallow’s natural scent is effectively masked by the pleasant lavender aroma.
