Make a savory, delicious Air Fryer Breakfast Ring in minutes!
This easy breakfast ring is adapted from the Air Fryer Taco Ring and has been a hit with my family. It’s simple to assemble and cooks quickly in the air fryer. Try it for breakfast, brunch, or even breakfast-for-dinner.

This crescent ring is filled with seasoned ground sausage, scrambled eggs, peppers, and shredded cheese, then baked until golden and flaky on top.
What crescent rolls should you use for this recipe?

For best results, use refrigerated Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough. It holds its shape well when you pull the dough over the filling, making the assembly easier and neater.
What ingredients do you need for the Air Fryer Breakfast Ring?

- 1 pound mild ground sausage
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 tsp fennel seed
- 5 eggs, scrambled
- 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (8-count)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Optional Toppings:
- Tomatoes
- Salsa
- Fully cooked chopped bacon
You can swap the cooked sausage for bacon or use both, and add any toppings you enjoy. These ingredients are what I typically keep on hand to make this ring quickly.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Breakfast Ring

Cook the sausage and peppers in a skillet until the sausage is no longer pink and the peppers are soft. Scramble the eggs separately and set aside. Preparing the fillings first makes assembly quick.
Line the air fryer basket with air-fryer-safe parchment paper or foil. Air fryer parchment with perforations is best because it allows better airflow and helps the bottoms crisp more evenly. If you use foil, leave room around the edges for air circulation.

Arrange the crescent roll triangles in a circle on the parchment or foil, overlapping the wide ends toward the center and the narrow ends pointing outward. Spoon the sausage and pepper mixture over the wide ends, then layer the scrambled eggs on top and finish with shredded cheddar.

Fold each narrow triangle end over the filling toward the center to seal the ring. If the dough tears, pinch gently to secure. The image shows the placement and folding technique.

Carefully transfer the prepared ring into the air fryer basket—keeping it on the parchment or foil helps prevent it from falling apart. Cook at 360°F (182°C) for 6–8 minutes, watching closely. All air fryers heat differently; I started with a cold air fryer and cooked the ring about 8 minutes to ensure the bottom was done and the top turned golden brown.

When finished, remove the ring and slice it with a pizza cutter. Serve warm with your choice of toppings. If the interior feels doughy after the initial cook, slice and return the pieces to the air fryer for 1–2 more minutes.
How to Store Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2–3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 330°F (165°C) for 2–3 minutes for best texture.

This easy recipe is a great addition to your breakfast rotation—perfect for mornings, weekend brunches, or a quick dinner when you want something comforting and satisfying.

Notes
Parchment made for air fryers with holes produces a crisper bottom than foil. Foil works if you leave space for air to circulate. Air fryers vary in heat output—adjust cooking time as needed. Nutritional values will change depending on toppings and ingredient brands.
